Why Evermore?
Evermore Resort is a unique resort in Orlando, FL and one of my favorite places to stay. It features 20-acres of white sand beach with a crystal clear lagoon, accommodation options to fit the whole family, and endless activity options for your kids. It opened in early 2024 and is close to Disney and all the Orlando attractions. Our first time staying here was in June 2024 for my son’s birthday. My son wanted to go down a water slide for his birthday and their water slide was so much fun! So, let’s dive into the details.

Our 4 Bedroom Flat with Evermore Bay View
One big draw for us to stay at Evermore was the rooms. We stayed in one of their 4-bedroom flats with an Evermore Bay view and loved it. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own en suite closet area and bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have a king-size bed and were a good size room. There was plenty of room to walk around and if you needed to set up a pack n play, it would easily be able to fit.
One of the bedrooms is a bunk room and it was the best! It sleeps 5 because one of the bottom bunks is a full-size bed. There were 5 “locker” style cubbies for the kids to unpack their clothes, and it was nice to have a designated space for each kid.
The bathroom in the bunk room had a shower on one side with its own door and then a toilet on the other side with its own door. In the middle of these is a large sink with 3 faucets. My parents, sister, and nephew came in town to join us so this set up worked perfectly for us. The kids LOVED their room but there was a considerable amount of time spent when we first got there negotiating sleeping arrangements. But everyone was happy in the end.
The kitchen in the flat had everything you could need. There was a refrigerator, microwave, stove top, sink, and Keurig coffee maker.
The living room had a large couch and was connected to the kitchen so there was plenty of room for 10 of us to be able to hang out.
There is also a balcony, and it was plenty big enough for everyone to sit out there. I just wish they had more seating on the patio since it is a 4-bedroom flat and there were only a table and two chairs. The Evermore Bay view was a higher cost than a Boardwalk view, but we all thought it was worth it. We loved sitting out there and looking out at the lagoon, it was beautiful. We were also able to watch the Disney fireworks from our balcony which was a big hit with the kids.
Other Accommodation Options
Evermore Resort offers multiple accommodation options. In addition to the flats that we stayed in, they also have the Cypress villas and the houses. The Cypress Villas at Evermore include 2–4-bedroom options and are the most affordable of the options. The houses range from 5 – 11 bedrooms and are perfect for large parties. You can find the floor plan for each of the houses on Evermore’s website. But the houses have their own private pool, and some include theaters or games. The largest house, with 11 bedrooms, even has a slide inside!
Checking In
Checking in was smooth and easy. They have an option to check in ahead of time but because we booked with a FL resident discount (FL residents – make sure to check for any current offers), we were required to go to guest services so we could show our ID. That was not a problem and we checked in quickly.
Where we parked for the flat meant that it would be a bit of a walk. It was not that far but when you have as much stuff as we did, it felt very far. Thankfully there are luggage carts that are available! It made a big difference in getting the stuff up to our room. You should be able to find them in the lobby of your building.
The Lagoon
The main event of this resort is the lagoon. It is beautiful and makes you feel like you are on an island in the middle of Orlando. It is 8 acres of water and 20 acres of sand. So bring your sand toys for the kids! And if you forget to or don’t want to travel with them, don’t worry, Dockside Outfitters sells them.
There are multiple beach areas with seating options and swim zones for you to enjoy. South Beach is close to The Landing and slide pool, East Beach is in front of the flats and near Barbara Ann’s, and West Beach is close to the villas. Here is an interactive map on Evermore’s website to help familiarize yourself with the different areas. I personally love East Beach, with it being close to Barbara Ann’s, you can hear the steel drums when they play.
Note: Conrad Beach is for Conrad Resort guests only. Evermore Resort guests can go to the Conrad to enjoy their restaurants and spa. But Conrad beach, Conrad swim zone, and the Conrad pool are only for Conrad Resort guests. We have stayed at the Conrad multiple times and love it. Check out my post on Conrad Orlando Resort for additional details.
One important thing to note about the lagoon is that it is, understandably so, not heated. So during the winter and spring, the water is going to be chilly. But the family waterslide pool is heated plus there is a hot tub there. This provides multiple options in case your kids think the lagoon is too cold.
Family Slide Pool
We spent a lot of time at the Family Slide Pool because the kids were obsessed with the water slide. It is so much fun, the adults went down it too 😊 The slide allows 4 people to go at a time so if you have a child who may be a little nervous at first, it is nice because you can go down next to them. And if you have a little one like I did who is too small for the slide, the pool has a zero entrance with bubblers. The two of us hung out there and he made friends with the other little kids. You also have a perfect view of the slide so I was still able to watch any time someone from our family went down.
Water slide heigh requirements:
- 48” – Can ride along
- 40” – 48” – Must wear a life jacket AND must have a parent ride with them or have a parent watching
This area also has a hot tub. My older boys liked warming up in the hot tub in between going down the slide.
There are lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas by this pool. There are also cabanas to rent, jump to the cabana section if you would like to read about those. The slide pool does get busy but we have always been able to find at least two chairs.
The lounge chairs do have flags so when food service is operating, you can order food and drinks. If you are there outside of food service times, Sand Hill Provisions is close by. The pool opens at 10am (we have opened that pool on more than one occasion) and food service has typically started around 11am when we have been there.
The line for the pool has always been pretty good when it opens. As you would expect, the longest lines I have seen for the slide are in the middle of the day.
Blue Hole
The Blue Hole is located right next to the family slide pool. You can jump into the water from two different heights or swing into the water from their rope swing. I jumped from the smaller of the two jumping points and even that was high for me. But my husband and nephew did all of it and they loved it. Note: You need to sign a waiver at the stand right when you walk into the family slide pool. They will give you a wristband and then you are able to do the blue hole activities.
Height Requirements:
- 48” – Can go alone
- Under 48” – Not able to participate
Activities
You will not run out of things to do at this resort. Evermore has a daily programs schedule so I recommend checking that out. While we were there, Gatorland visited and my oldest and nephew got to hold a baby gator. There was also a hot sauce competition that my dad and husband participated in. I have also seen bayside movies, trivia, hair wrap station, face painting, and so much more.
Other activities include getting out on the lagoon. You will see lots of people taking advantage of this! They have kayaks and stand-up paddleboards that are included with your resort stay. Or for an additional fee of $75, you can go on a 2-person SolarCat cruise. Something else I saw them come out with this past winter that I thought was a great idea was the Spacruzzi. It is an additional fee of $150/hour and only for ages 12+. But it is essentially a spa boat, I guess you would call it. During the winter months, when the lagoon is too cold, it would be a nice way to get out there and enjoy the lagoon while still staying warm.
There are also activities that require you to book them. These include friendship bracelet making, aquatic adventures with an Evermore mermaid, bead keychains, DIY photo frame, cookie decorating, and more.
I recommend looking at Evermore’s site for a full listing of activities activities.
In front of the flats, there is a volleyball net. So if you or your family love to play volleyball, I recommend bringing one with you if you can. Or if you are like my kids, it is another giant sandy area to run around in when nobody is playing.
Cabanas
There are cabanas in different areas for you to choose from. If you are interested in a cabana, I recommend booking as soon as possible. The prices do fluctuate based on demand and I have seen them sell out ahead of time. The cabana options are: East Shore Overwater Cabanas, Blue Hole Overwater Cabanas, Family Slide Pool Cabanas, and Blue Hole Grand Cabanas. You can check here for pricing and availability.
The overwater cabanas look amazing! We have not gotten a chance to do this yet but hope to be able to one day.
Another option that is more affordable are the day beds. These accommodate two people.
Dining & Drink Options
We ate at The Landing while we were there and that worked great. There are multiple options inside of there so everyone can choose what they want. The options include Craft Burgers, Props Pizza, and That’s A Wrap. The Landing is open from 11am to 10pm and there is seating inside or outside depending on your preference. I liked eating outside of the weather allowed so the kids could run around and they have a few lawn games as well. The Landing also has Sandhill Provisions. This is where you can get small grab and go items. Or in the morning, Sandhill Provisions has coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
For full-service dining there is Twin View Restaurant (right next to The Landing), Papaya Club (at the Conrad), and Sophia’s Trattoria (at the Conrad). Another upscale option that is located on the top floor of the Conrad is Ceiba. We have not eaten at Ceiba but we went up there for a drink after the kids went to bed (thanks to grandma and grandpa) and were able to watch the Disney fireworks from there. It was beautiful!
Another option that Evermore has that I think is brilliant is “Evermore to your door”. This includes food hall delivery (pizza, burger, wraps), ready to heat entrees that they will leave in your fridge (great for coming back after a day at the parks), provisions delivery (they will stock your fridge with grocery items), private chef, and private bartender. The private chef and/or bartender are a great option for large parties staying in the houses. The houses can sleep as many as 32 people. So with a party that large, it would be nice to have someone come cook for you versus trying to find seating at the restaurants.
Barbara Ann’s Beach Bar is a red VW van that has been converted into a beach bar. They serve drinks for the adults and popsicles for the kids. It is located at East Beach, right in the sand. And there is a fun set up with a table and swing chairs right next to it. The kids loved getting a popsicle and hanging out on the swings. They also have a steel drum band that sometimes plays here.
There is also a taco truck on the East Beach closer to the Conrad. I don’t recall the name of it but it is another great dining option if you are in that area.
One thing you will see is that the resort is huge. And if you and your family are comfortable in one spot, you may not want to get up and relocate to get lunch. So, it is nice that Evermore provides so many options in different spots.
Procedure During Lightning
In Florida during the summer, we get a lot of thunderstorms. It is normal to get an afternoon thunderstorm each day. And during our summer stay, there were multiple thunderstorms each day. I find it worth including a section on this because when there is lightning within a certain mile radius, they close the lagoon and pools. And we were not allowed to be on the beach either, we had to go back inside to our flat. And they do not reopen these areas until 30 minutes has passed with no lightning strike within that radius. This is typical for resorts and it is to keep everyone safe from lightning. But it did make me even more thankful to have the flat style accommodations because we ended up spending more time in our room than I anticipated. During the storms, we also went to The Landing if we wanted to get out of the flat.
Pricing
Pricing will vary depending on which accommodation you choose and what time of year you go. Seasonality is a very big factor in resort pricing. Prices here (and really all of Florida) will be more expensive in March and April due to spring break. Also, if you go over a major holiday like 4th of July or New Year’s Eve, that will impact pricing as well.
Below are prices ranges for some of the options (these are listed as per night):
- 2 Bedroom Villa: Just over $700 – $1,200
- 2 Story Walk Up Flat: $1,000 – Just Under $1,700
- 5 Story Flat with Evermore Bay View: $1,200 – $1,900
- 5 Bedroom House: $1,900 – Just Under $2,600
Note: Resort pricing is always fluctuating and actual may prices could vary from the above, but this gives you an idea.
At first glance, this feels like a lot of money. But remember, the two flat options are 4 bedroom/4 bath so you would most likely be splitting this with someone else. And the bedrooms in the houses range from 5 – 11 bedrooms so again, you would most likely be staying with other families.
Another item I want to mention is that while you pay a premium for holidays such as Easter, 4th of July, New Year’s Eve, the resort does do a lot of fun activities for those holidays. If you are interested, I would look at Evermore’s Seasonal Events page to see what they offer.
Overall Feedback & FAQs
Overall, we loved this resort and between Evermore and the Conrad, have now visited 4 times! The lagoon, water slide, sandy beaches, room options, dinner options, and proximity to Disney make this a great option for any family. Being local, it takes a lot to get me to want to keep coming back but this place does.
What is the setup of the 4-bedroom flat? On one side, there is the bunk room (3 twin beds and 1 full bed so it sleeps 5) with a bathroom and a king bedroom with a bathroom. In the middle are the kitchen, living room, and access to the balcony. And on the other side are two more king bedrooms, each with their own bathroom.
What is your favorite place to eat? We mostly ate at The Landing or poolside service at the family slide pool. These are the most convenient ones with our family. Papaya Club at the Conrad though is so good and a great option for lunch or dinner. If you want to splurge or do a date night, Ceiba at the top of the Conrad is perfect. If you are hitting up the theme parks or staying in one of the houses, I think Evermore to your door would be a great option. But I have
Is the lagoon heated? No. So keep that in mind when traveling in winter or spring. And yes, that includes spring break in March.
Is the family slide pool heated? Yes, although I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s warm. But it is warmer than the lagoon during winter and spring. The hot tub is right there as well and is a great way to warm up if needed.
Which cabana option would you recommend? If you are able to do a cabana, I think the overwater ones look like so much fun. The East Beach option provides a relaxed vibe with swimming and a sandy beach to play in for the kids. The Blue Hole option is right next to the family slide pool and blue hole. If you think your kids will want to spend a lot of time there (like mine do), this would be a great option to be close by to that. If you have little kids, I would probably go with East Beach. If you have older kids that are big enough to do the slide and blue hole, I would go with Blue Hole.
Are there items I should bring for the kids for the lagoon? Yes! Sand toys, water toys, goggles, and a life jacket for your littles if you prefer. The swim zones are very shallow when you first get in so your little should be able to walk around with you if you stay close to shore. It gets deeper as you go towards the center.
Where can I get coffee? A very important question. The flat has a Keurig coffee maker if you would like to use that or you can go to Sandhill Provisions. Their coffee was good!
How far is Evermore Resort from Disney? It is only about 15-20 minutes
What is the cost? That will depend on when you go and what accommodation option you choose. The section above goes through pricing details.
What time of year do you recommend going? I am local to Orlando, so I am familiar with the weather throughout the year. I think you will have plenty to do any time you come, but here are my comments for some of the popular months/seasons:
- March: It is beautiful here in March. We still get cool days, which can be perfect for the theme parks if you are planning to do that. For the lagoon though, it means it will not be warm just yet. But remember, the family slide pool is heated and there is also a hot tub there. And who knows, your kids may not care at all that the lagoon is cool.
- April: My favorite time of year in Florida is April. But I know that it may not work for all families with school. Plus, you will want to keep in mind that the lagoon will not be warm yet and pricing at the beginning of April will very much reflect spring break pricing. You would be able to find better rates at the end of April.
- Summer: I think summer will be a great time to come. While I know it’s hot here, you are surrounded by water activities to keep you cool. The one item I would keep in mind is that we typically get a lot of thunderstorms in the summer so lightning may cause lagoon/pool closures. I don’t think this should hold you back but it’s worth noting.
- August: December: This is when you will get some great deals (outside of major holidays). August and September will still be hot, but it can be rainy here during those months. November and December can have cold days. It’s very up and down at that time of year so it might be 85 and sunny while you’re here or it could be 50.
When is hurricane season? Hurricane season is June 1 to November 30. As a Floridian though, I don’t start taking it seriously until August. But it is possible for a storm to form in June and July. It is just not typical. I also start forgetting in November that it is still hurricane season, but a storm is possible. Peak hurricane season is August – October so I would recommend ensuring you understand the cancellation policy during that time.
